Make Up & Body Painting by Joanne Gair They call her a mater of illusions not without a reason: Joanne Gair is one of the world's best known make up and body paint artist. She became widely popular after her publication for Vanity Fair cover in 1992. with Demi Moore on front page. She works with some of the best photographers and has painted many other celebrities, such as Heidi Klum, Madonna, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kim Basinger, Christina Aguilera, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sophia Loren, Celine Dion, Pamela Anderson, Carla Bruni, Alek Wek, Goldie Hawn and many supermodels. Gair’s first book Paint A’ Licious was released in October of 2005 and featured over 40 new photographed and body painted images. Amazing Body Art from the 2008 World Bodypainting Festival in Daegu, South Korea
The World Bodypainting Asian Awards were held in Daegu, South Korea from August 25-31 and renowned body painting artists such as John Vargas who has been featured in Lunatica before, was one of the many artists who participated in the colorful event. Other really amazing body painters we have featured here are Emma Hack and Emma Cammack. Check out their fantastic work.
